Presentación Javier Montaner
Me llamo Javier y soy ingeniero. He trabajado muchos años en empresas de telecomunicaciones aunque últimamente me dedico más al software y al hardware. En Makespace he conocido a gente increíble que sabe mucho más que yo tanto en modo hobby como en modo profesional. Gracias a lo que he aprendido de ellos han surgido algunos proyectos que están documentados por nuestra wiki.
 
Me gusta "jugar" con Arduino (David Cuartielles  estudió en el CPS de la Universidad de Zaragoza, como yo :-) Mis proyectos suelo compartirlos en github e intento incluir algo de documentación para que cualquier persona interesada pueda reproducirlos y modificarlos. Algunos ejemplos son estas matrices de LEDS o esta radio por Internet controlada a través de tarjetas RFID.
 
Actualmente colaboro con varias organizaciones públicas y privadas para resolver problemas reales de personas con discapacidad. Mi visión es que la tecnología libre actual (HW y SW) puede servir a muchas de estas personas a un precio más bajo y con una personalización mucho mayor que las soluciones del mercado. Creo que comunidades como Makespace Madrid tienen mucho que aportar en este campo divulgando y demostrando lo que ya se puede hacer. Como ejemplo, esta aplicación móvil que estoy desarrollando en colaboración con el CEADAC para pacientes con daño cerebral adquirido.
 
Tres últimos días de la ronda 1 y ¡nuevo patrocinador!
El lunes acabamos la primera ronda de Goteo, habiendo superado el mínimo y lanzándonos hacia el óptimo con el impulso adquirido en la segunda ronda. ¡Gracias a todos!
