    We say HELLO from Senegal! Opportunity to participate during one of the visits to Sam Sam in a videoconference with the project participants. The visits are designed to monitor the construction, so you can learn first hand detailed information of the Project as well as its positive impact of the comunity.

    E-Workshop of 30 ' videoconference of the donor with the Toubab team, and the nun and teacher Regina, the local leader of the Project. La fuerza de lo común

Ayer fue un día mágico para los Toubabs Team, juntos y rodeados de amigos, comprobamos una vez más que el ser humano es maravilloso.

 

La presentación ” CONSTRUYENDO JUNTOS LA SALUD” en la Mustang Art Gallery  nos inquietaba mucho pues realmente no sabíamos quién iba a venir, superados los miedos escénicos, la sala estaba preciosa y muy bien equipada para que todo saliera bien. ¡Sólo faltaba llenarla!

Y así sucedió…con 27 asistentes superamos todas las previsiones y estuvimos bien arropados por familiares, amigos y hasta representación institucional del Ayuntamiento de Elche ( Teresa Maciá, Concejala de Cooperación)  y del Colegio de Médicos de Alicante (Dr. Diego Torrús, Director Oficina de Cooperación y Presidente de Medicos Mundi) . Ambos incidieron en la importancia de promover esta clase de iniciativas que desarrollen a través de la vocación, otros escenarios menos desfavorecidos. 

La bienvenida de Sergio Ros ( Patrono de la Fundación Pascual Ros Aguilar)  como anfitrión nos emocionó especialmente porque el sabe mucho de cooperación y de proyectos sociales y nos dijo públicamente que nuestro proyecto y la forma de enfocarlo le había “enamorado desde el principio”.

Concluida la inauguración oficial, los 5 toubabs ( Josep, Carol, Mageles, Cris y Juanra)  hicimos una presentación coral, juntos tenemos la voz mas potente y las fortalezas de cada uno hacen un gran toubab solidario. Y eso que nos faltaba el sexto elemento, Leticia, que  no pudo acudir por vivir en Hamburgo.

Nos emocionamos muchas veces recordando las vivencias y relatando las necesidades de una población que no cuenta con la suerte de tener, entre oras cosas, con un sistema sanitario tan excelente como el nuestro y con unas prestaciones sociales que no permitirían desigualdades como las que hemos conocido. Lo nuestro es mejorable, si, pero es digno de valoración y cuidado.

 

Presentamos el proyecto y la campaña de crowdfounding en www.goteo.org, pusimos vídeos de recuerdos y risas y concluimos con un vino de honor que nos traía muchos recuerdos de losduros inicios en Dakar.
